We have been using Aluminium Foil FS — 138 supplied by M/S Macmillan Insulations ( India) Pvt. Ltd. For the last 10 years. We find its effectiveness better than other insulation material earlier used by us like glass wool, fire resistant hessian etc. The temperature difference we observed was two degrees less in the shed where this foil was used vis-a-vis glasswool.

Experiments were conducted to check out the performance under various conditions and a direct comparison was made with the conventional glass wool underdeck insulation system; it was very revealing to see the results of these extensive experiments.
